Life Story of Midnight Purple

Her name, for she is a she, is Midnight Purple! Gifted in 2005 by Bill "pops" Campbell to his son, as a congratulations for running 3-mile marathons so often. Midnight Purple was born in '99 to the Ford family, properly named Ranger, but known by all as Midnight Purple, and twelve years later, she's lookin' mighty fine and travel worthy! Many surgeries and transplants have been occurring, over this past year especially; she now rides with a new water pump, shocks, timing and drive belt, rack&pinion unit, spark plugs, battery, all filters and oils, and 4 beautiful mud-handling tires. For when one wants to take 4-cylinder, no 4-wheel drive Midnight along the coasts of Central and South America, one needs to make up for sheer power in the strength of its tires. And do not be mislead by the visual appearance of Midnight's exterior, because what she holds inside is what is truly needed to last such a trip as this. Midnight Purple has been fitted with a house, a house that was purchased over two years ago in the hopes that when I (Matt) graduate, a trip of extravagant adventure would take place. I will be spending the months of December til March adding the final touches needed to make her also environmental-worthy, for we know she is not monsoon-ready yet, thankfully a Canadian storm in below freezing temperatures advised us of that. If you, the reader, pray, or wish good thoughts upon others, do so for Midnight and her travels for she is taking along with her some of the most precious cargo I happen to know! Stay Classy Midnight!
